Horseracing Wrongs portrays itself as a progressive, mainstream organization, but in reality, it’s at the left fringe of animal rights groups, further left than even PETA. Horseracing Wrongs’ words and actions show that this is a group with a radical agenda that goes far beyond horse racing. On their website, they have written: “we hold that no animal should be bred, domesticated, and used for human purposes. The evil, as we see it, begins and ends with animal property.”

You Can’t Love Both”, and it’s one they boldly scroll across their promotional items. They use an absolute in their messaging and argument, and they apparently think horse racing is one word. These two pet peeves of mine are the least of what’s wrong with Horseracing Wrongs though. Here’s what’s really wrong with this charitable 501(c) 3, tax exempt organization: they pull at heart strings to loosen the purse strings of the public. What’s wrong with this? This extremist group is not entirely transparent, and they are not always factual.
